Snowmobile trails in the Destination Nackawic region

New Brunswick is home to a vast network of trails for snowmobiles. We are lucky enough to have hundreds of kilometres of trails to explore around the province.

The trails are maintained by the New Brunswick Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (NBFSC), a volunteer-based group that organizes the individual clubs and events for snowmobilers. They also provide information about permits and local regulations to ensure everyone is safe and legal on the trail.

Whether you’re looking for a few hours on a run or a weekend-long convoy, there are trails and tours available for every journey. The NBFSC provides a fantastic interactive map that details current trail status and outlines a variety of recommended tours.

Nackawic Sno-Drifters Club

Nackawic also has its own snowmobile club (Nackawic Sno-Drifters Club 10), one of the first clubs to join the NBFSC. Snowmobiling runs deep in our community, and the club has been steadily growing.

The Nackawic Sno-Drifters Club maintains snowmobile trails toward Woodstock, Millville, Keswick, to Mactaquac Provincial Park, and all in between. The club has enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers who groom the trails regularly, so we’re always ready for adventure! Follow the Nackawic Sno-Drifters’ Facebook page for updates and come join in on the fun.

Looking for somewhere to stop on your snowmobile adventure?

The Destination Nackawic region has many friendly places to take a break just off the trail. Our local club maintains two warming huts—a fantastic place to meet up with friends! The warming huts are always tidy and well-stocked with wood to make your pit stop super comfortable.

The Nackawic Irving is the best place to stop for fuel, and The Big Axe Brewery is the best stop for a delicious N.B.-brewed craft beer along your travels.

There are also a variety of places to stop for lunch or coffee, including the Nackawic Golf Club, the Waterfront Pub & Eatery, Robins Donuts, Mactaquac Grab N Go and MOCO at Mactaquac Provincial Park. Any given Saturday through the winter, you’re likely to find fellow snowmobilers grabbing a bite to eat to fuel up before heading back out on the trail.

Look forward to many events throughout the season, including BBQs, 50/50 boards and poker rallies. All profits go toward tail and club maintenance so we can all continue to enjoy them for many winters to come!

Don’t Hibernate All Winter

Winter is a beautiful, but an under appreciated time of year in the Maritimes. Come get outside with us!

The snowmobiling community in the Destination Nackawic region is accelerating, working alongside our golf community and ATV community  to become bigger and better.

Bonus: During the warmer months, many snowmobile trails can be used for ATVs, so you can enjoy all that Destination Nackawic has to offer—all year-round.

Enjoy the beauty…out on the trails!
